An example of Good Policy: Approval for two major pipeline projects

Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet signed off on two major pipelines projects that will pump nearly a million more barrels of oil a day from Alberta’s oil-sands to global markets.

Ottawa gave the green light to Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline and Enbridge’s Line 3, while it rejected Northern Gateway.

Canada is confirming, by taking this decision,  its position as a “climate leader” and  that pipelines are simply the safest way to move natural resources to market.

I want to congratulate the Trudeau Government on this “Good” Policy decision.
